The Smithtown West Bulls hosted the Sachem North Flaming Arrows on Saturday, May 4th, and had a dominating performance. The Bulls remained on top for most of the game as they man handled the Flaming Arrows on face offs, finishing with an impressive victory of 18-8 in the Division 1 match up.
Smithtown West progressively led in goals throughout each quarter, leading 13-5 by the end of the first half. The Bulls then gained a one man advantage by the third quarter due to a 2 minute penalty producing three more goals for the squad, now up 18-6. By the end of the fourth, the Smithtown West boys maintained their record while only allowing one goal against them. George Shultz and Ryan Keenan were two key players in this sweeping win, continuously using one another to drive the ball in the net.
The Smithtown West Bulls look to take on Lindenhurst next when they host the team on Tuesday, May 7.
